As in the past, Release 4.1 of the ProcSet Workflow Solution optimally combines workflow functions with professional prepress technology.
An essential innovation is the support of multi-page documents and thus the possibility to use the system also for insert production. For this purpose the objects “Document” and “Publication” have been introduced. The check, correction and conversion functionalities based on callas pdfToolbox can now be applied to the complete document as with single graphics. The display of the check reports has been adjusted accordingly, so that it is easy to see which problems occurred on which page. With this enhancement, functionalities that have proven to be useful for ad production are generalized and allow inserts to be produced or processed efficiently.
Another new feature is the integration of the alfa Stylo Editor. This HTML5 editor developed by alfa Media Partner fits seamlessly into the ProcSet Workflow Solution interface. To provide optimum support for the template set, a separate template management system has been introduced. New templates can be created or existing ones imported directly from the editor. The template selection can be done either by entering the template identifier or visually via a gallery. In addition, delivered images, which are located in the order folder, can be accessed directly.
