The media group Münchner Merkur/tz, publisher of the daily newspaper Münchner Merkur and its home newspapers, the tz as well as numerous advertising journals, reorganizes the ad production process and introduces the digital job folder from ProcSet Media Solutions for this purpose.
In the tender that preceded this decision, extremely demanding requirements were defined, such as seamless integration into existing commercial systems, e.g. SAP IS-M/AM.
With the introduction of the new system, a uniform, browser-based working method will be created for the employees of the various newspaper objects.
In the leading business systems, the ProcSet Workflow Solution interface is embedded directly in the business user interface. The aim of the project is to achieve a maximum degree of automation through a paperless workflow and to optimally network all employees involved in the production process.
There will also be far-reaching changes in the technical area, which will lead to a much more efficient production process.
The proven checking and correction functionalities based on the integrated Adobe and Callas technology will be used for processing full templates.
In the design of ad motifs, the reorganization of data management, the connection to the Adobe Creative Suite and the automated generation of galley proofs will result in optimal workflows.
The overall solution is rounded off by the introduction of the ProcSet portal solution, which enables modern web-based communication channels between the publisher and its customers.
