What is the current development status of the ProcSet Workflow Solution? Which future developments will there be? Which chances and possibilities does Augmented Reality offer to the publishing industry? These and many other topics were the focus of this year’s user meeting on June 29, 2015 at NOVOTEL am Tiergarten in Berlin.
Stefan Rost – managing director of ProcSet Media Solutions GmbH – started the meeting by presenting the current development status of the ProcSet Workflow Solution. The attending customers could get a first impression of the already released version 4.0. Innovations like the folder pickup, the administration of online formats or the support of Photoshop and Illustrator files are only some of the many enhancements the users can look forward to in the future.
The event continued with Dietrich von Seggern – Business Development Manager of Callas Software GmbH – with his exciting presentation “Web First with PDF? News from callas Software for integrating PDF generation in multi-channel and Web First environments”.
Marc Dillmann – Managing Director of BDL GmbH – then spoke about the new CRM industry standard for newspaper publishers: “dialogcrm” and “SAP IS-Media”. The integration of the ProcSet Workflow Solution implemented at Magdeburger Volksstimme was also discussed.
The presentation by Markus Schulz – Managing Director of SAPRO GmbH – and his colleague Diana Stein was also met with great interest from customers: Under the slogan “Advertising with added value” they impressively presented how Augmented Reality is on its way to series production and about the chances and possibilities AR can offer the publishing industry in the future.
At the end of the series of lectures Mr. Rost took the floor again and presented current and future developments that are currently being developed at ProcSet.
The day was rounded off with a joint dinner in a special atmosphere: in glorious sunshine, we took a boat across the Spree and the Landwehrkanal, through the centre of Berlin. The innumerable discussions, the shop talk and the excellent atmosphere of the last ProcSet user meetings continued this evening.
We are particularly pleased that this day has once again given us the opportunity to enter into active dialogue with our customers, to talk to them about our ideas and thus to learn first-hand what wishes and suggestions our customers have for us and our products.
We would like to thank everyone for their participation and all those who contributed to the success of the day – especially our speakers – and are already looking forward to the next user meeting in Berlin!
