The SDZ. Druck und Medien – leading information and communication service provider in the Ostalbkreis region – has been one of the customers of ProcSet Media Solutions GmbH since 2008. With the help of the ProcSet Workflow Solution a significant process optimization could be achieved for the production of the daily newspapers Schwäbische Post / Gmünder Tagespost as well as the advertising papers Wochenpost / Gmünder Anzeiger.
The digital data inputs were consistently automated using the integrated checking and conversion functionalities. An ideal production environment was created for the ad typesetting process through the integration of the Adobe Creative Suite, the use of logo management and the automated correction workflow.
In order to enable the ad clerk to easily handle the digital job folder, the browser interface was already integrated into the existing commercial system “alfa adbs-Client 5.6.0″ from alfa when the ProcSet Media Solution was introduced.
This integration has now also been carried out in the alfa AdSuite ad management solution launched in April 2014 and is thus a further example of the seamless embedding of the browser-based digital job folder from ProcSet in commercial user interfaces.
