The Customer Day at ProcSet Media Solutions GmbH took place on October 7 in Berlin and was also held very much in the spirit of the latest developments in the area of publishing production and the exchange of information with our customers.
The gathering began with a greeting by Stefan Rost (Managing Director of ProcSet Media Solutions GmbH) and a presentation of the latest developments in ProcSet Workflow Solution.
Then Markus Schulz (Managing Director, SAPRO Gesellschaft für Satzproduktion mbH) introduced his company and described the use of ProcSet Workflow Solution at SAPRO, particularly with regard to the challenge of combining various publishing production systems into a uniform and convenient typesetting environment.
Dr. Martin Huber (Managing Director of gogol medien GmbH & Co.) gave a talk called “Publishing Systems from the Cloud” and reported on general experiences with the use of cloud systems in the publishing sector and explained to the participants how 129 newspapers appear in the cloud at RMA. The entire event benefited from an extremely interesting presentation by Bernhard Feuerstein (Head of Corporate Development, Regionalmedien Austria AG) on the joint project for Regionalmedien Austria. The participants learned more about the successful use of ProcSet Workflow Solution in RMA companies.
Customers who hoped for further developments in software solutions did not leave empty-handed. The discussion round “Future Upgrades for ProcSet Workflow Solutions” produced numerous options, with a focus on customer feedback, and there were many interesting and helpful ideas.
The day was rounded out with a tour through the capital, and a special highlight in the evening was the collective dinner over the roofs of Berlin – on the Berlin TV tower. In this great atmosphere, we had more opportunity to exchange ideas over a glass of wine in order to close out the day together.
Overall, the Customer Day was a colorful mixture of valuable information transfer and interesting exchanges of experience in a pleasant atmosphere.
We would like to thank all the participants and particularly the speakers for their interesting presentations.
