The annual customer day of ProcSet Media Solutions GmbH took place on 15 September 2011 at the Hotel SANA in Berlin. The numerous participants could look forward to many exciting presentations as well as a lot of space for discussions and the mutual exchange of experiences.
In the first part of the event Stefan Rost, managing director of ProcSet Media Solutions GmbH, gave a detailed overview of the new version of the ProcSet Workflow Solution with all its innovations and features, which met with great interest. This was followed by an informative presentation by Dietrich von Seggern (callas software GmbH) with the title “Legal and technical requirements for the archiving of communication for ad orders”.
In the second part of the event Stefan Rost (ProcSet) and Frank Barchet (MSH Medien System Haus GmbH & Co. KG) explained the ProcSet API and highlighted practical examples for the use of checking, conversion and workflow functions via the ProcSet programming interface.
However, the major part of the afternoon was dedicated to the customers. With regard to possible further developments of the ProcSet Workflow Solution, customer requirements were discussed and the general question “What is useful and what is ‘nice to have’? Furthermore the topic of ergonomics and user friendliness was discussed. The main question was: “How to combine complex functionality with simple user guidance”.
In the course of the extremely lively exchange of ideas, many interesting and helpful suggestions were made by customers and further ideas for the further development of the software were given.
The content part was followed by an excursion by bus to the Glienicke Bridge. After a short walk through the Glienicker Park, we went to the Glienicke Castle for dinner. Here, in a pleasant atmosphere, there was the opportunity to get to know each other in a relaxed manner and to exchange further information over a glass of wine, in order to round off an all-round successful customer day together.
